Building instruments one by one has its benefits, but efficiency is not one of them. Typically, each guitar takes 40+ hours to complete over a period of several months. Before the sawdust flies, I create full scale drawings,  and then templates for each instrument. Most of the wood used is brought in as raw lumber and milled by me into body blanks, bookmatched top sets, neck blanks and fretboard blanks. Hardware and electronics are selected to complement the wood choices for each instrument.
